          Dear Bud,
                How is everything? Well I got some pictures made. Will send them next week. Well I'm a man now. Was 17 the 27th. We're taking up some new subjects. In "Clerical Forms", they teach us to type, operate memeograph, telegraphy, and how to set up telephone-ette. In Military Patography we study maps, how to follow a compass, and geography. When in action we're issued a map by the commanding officer, its used with the compass while as a first aid man. See we work alone, and most of the time, we have to use maps to tell where the fighting line is. It has all military roads, strongholds, dumps, camps, and everything else. We also get instructions on how to get rid of it in case of capture.
