Bruce was born in West Texas Hospital in Lubbock, Texas on October 21, 1957. He started school in Bryan and completed high school there in 1976. After high school Bruce attended TSTI in Waco where he completed a program in Automotive Technology in 1980. He was working in Tyler when he met Lynn. She was working there as a nurse in one of the Tyler hospitals. Lynn and Bruce were married at her mother's home in Mt Pleasant on February 23, 1980.
Lynn and Bruce have three children. They have lived in Sulphur Springs, Texas for a number of years. Bruce owns and operates an automotive repair shop and Lynn works as an administrator at a local hospital. They have been very active in the support of the activities of the children. Bruce has established a reputation for honesty, integrity and fairness in his business activities.
