Becky was born in Lubbock, Texas at West Texas Hospital on October 21, 1957. She started school in Bryan and graduated from high school there in 1976. Becky attended Texas A&M for two years before marrying her high school sweetheart, Partin Wakefield, in Bryan on September 2, 1978. Becky and Partin have two children. Partin inherited the Wakefield family fortune and developed other interests resulting in their divorce in 1993. In 1998 Becky married Kurt Johnson in Austin where she was living with the two kids. Kurt and Becky moved to a new home near San Marcos in 2004. The children are in college in College Station.
